Getting started

• Install Overseer from the Shopify App Store and open it from your admin under Apps. Analytics begin collecting immediately via the auto-installed web pixel.
• Enable session replay (optional): in the app, go to Settings → Session replay → Enable, then in your Theme editor → App embeds turn on Umami session recorder and Save.
• View insights: open Analytics and Insights for funnels, journeys, cohorts, and AI recommendations.

Your data & privacy

You control your data anytime in Settings → Data & privacy: Reset analytics (clear collected data, keep the app) or Delete all my data. Uninstalling the app erases everything automatically. See our Privacy Policy.

Common questions

Does Overseer slow down my storefront?

No — the pixel and recorder are lightweight, load asynchronously, and never block page rendering.

Do you collect payment information?

Never. Overseer has no access to payment-card data, and session replays mask form-field values.

Will it work with my theme?

Yes — Overseer uses Shopify's standard Web Pixel and Theme App Extension, which work with any theme.
